Pages vary with trim size, font and layout. Use the word count from your writing app when you have it; the page option starts at 275 words a page and is only a rough fallback.
Characters are estimated
From a word count the calculator assumes about 6 characters per word, spaces and punctuation included. Importing the book file into ToneCraft shows the exact count before anything is generated.
