Refund Policy

How ToneCraft handles character refunds, cancellations, and payment questions.
1. Character credits (in-product)
Paid plans include a monthly character allowance used when you generate speech, scripts, and related paid features. One-time top-up characters (when offered) do not expire with the billing cycle.
If a generation fails on our side after characters were charged, those characters are refunded to your balance automatically. You do not need to open a support ticket for ordinary pipeline failures.
Regenerating an unchanged line or paragraph that we already cached is not charged again.
2. Subscriptions and cancellation
Subscriptions renew until you cancel. You can cancel from the billing portal linked in your account; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Plan changes take effect according to the billing portal and merchant-of-record rules. Downgrades typically apply at the next renewal unless stated otherwise at checkout.
3. Money refunds
Except for automatic in-product character refunds described above, or where the law requires otherwise, subscription and top-up payments are non-refundable once processed.
We do not refund unused character balances for change-of-mind, unused capacity at period end, or dissatisfaction with creative taste after successful generation — successful audio delivery is the service you paid for.
If you believe you were charged in error (duplicate charge, wrong plan), contact us on X (@ToneCraftVA) and, for payment disputes, use the Lemon Squeezy customer portal from your billing page. Lemon Squeezy is our merchant of record for card processing, receipts, and applicable taxes while that integration is active.
4. Free beta and “coming soon” paid plans
While paid checkout is marked Coming soon, the free beta does not charge cards through this site. Published plan prices and character quotas are the intended paid lineup; they become billable only when checkout is enabled with an approved payment provider.
5. Digital content and consumer rights
Where consumer law gives a cooling-off right for digital content, that right may not apply (or may end) once generation has started at your request, because the service performs immediately and delivers digital audio you can download. Local mandatory law still applies where it cannot be waived.
6. How to get help
For failed generations, check your balance first — characters should already be restored. For billing portal access, open Billing in the app. For anything else, message @ToneCraftVA on X.
